F8 Facebook Conference
12.04.2016: For two days, we will be in San Francisco at the Facebook Developers Conference, the F8, to inform us about new products, tools, interactive demos and the vision of Mark Zuckerberg.
Facebook presented more than just new gimmicks at the second-day conference, Mark Zuckerberg showed for the first time that he sees Facebook with all his services as a kind of ecosystem that he will gradually expand over the next 10 years. The products are Instagram, WhatsApp, Videos, Virtual Reality, Internet.org and of course Facebook as a community.
Zuckerberg is of the opinion that in the coming years the Internet traffic will consist of up to 70% of videos. VR, he considers an essential component and presented the first Facebook 360-degree camera that can produce 360-degree video in real-time.
The keynote, held on the second day by Facebook-CTO Mike Schroepfer, was under the heading “Make the World more open and connected”. A minor highlight was the successful Selfie in the VR with Mike Schroepfer and Mike, a Facebook employee who entered the VR in the Facebook HQ.
One of the topics we will look at are the messenger bots. According to the developers, these will in future make some apps on the smartphones redundant. For example, A simple Playlists-Bot. But do you want that? .. We will see.
